    Gigabyte B650 AERO G Motherboard

    The Gigabyte B650 AERO G is an ATX motherboard for the AM5 socket from the AERO series, designed for content creators. It supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, is based on the AMD B650 chipset and takes DDR5 memory in four slots, up to 256GB and up to 8000 MT/s (OC).

    The board's highlight is VisionLINK: a single USB-C port that carries data, video (DisplayPort) and up to 60W of charging power, for example to a pen display. With the DisplayPort In input, the image from the graphics card can also be routed through it. According to the manufacturer, the board also offers three M.2 slots (one PCIe 5.0 x4), Intel 2.5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 6E.

    • VisionLINK over one cable - A rear USB-C port with USB 3.2 Gen 2, DisplayPort output up to 3840x2160@144Hz and 20V/3A power delivery. It connects a pen display or portable monitor with a single cable.
    • DisplayPort In - A rear DisplayPort input takes the image from the graphics card and passes it through VisionLINK, so the pen display also benefits from the discrete GPU.
    • PCIe 5.0 storage - Three M.2 slots for drives up to 25110 length: one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4, with an M.2 Thermal Guard III heatsink. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports and RAID 0, 1 and 10 are also supported.
    • DDR5 memory - Four dual-channel DDR5 slots for up to 256GB at up to 8000 MT/s (OC), with AMD EXPO and XMP profiles.
    • Fast network and USB - Intel 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.2, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and an internal header for a 20Gb/s front USB-C port. The board also has a connector for a Gigabyte USB4 add-in card.
    • Assembly and cooling - EZ-Latch for screwless PCIe x16 and M.2 installation, Smart Fan 6 with eight fan and pump headers, and a Q-Flash Plus button to update the BIOS without a CPU, memory or graphics card.
