The GIGABYTE B840M DS3H is a Micro ATX (24.4 x 24.4 cm) motherboard with the AMD B840 chipset and socket AM5, supporting AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series processors. Four dual-channel DDR5 slots support up to 256GB at up to 8200 MT/s (OC), with AMD EXPO and XMP.

It is a great base for a current AM5 build: two M.2 slots on PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with the EZ-Latch quick release, 2.5GbE LAN, rear USB-C, and HDMI plus two DisplayPort outputs for Ryzen integrated graphics.

X3D Turbo Mode in BIOS boosts gaming performance on Ryzen 9000 processors with one click. An 8+2+2 digital VRM with heatsink, M.2 Thermal Guard, Smart Fan 6 with 4 fan headers, a Q-Flash Plus button, EZ-Debug LEDs and two ARGB headers complete the board.
