The MSI X870E GAMING PLUS WIFI is an ATX gaming motherboard with the AMD X870E chipset and AM5 socket for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series processors. It takes up to 256GB of DDR5 in four slots with AMD EXPO and up to 8200+ MT/s with overclocking, and offers a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card and three M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0.

The rear panel has a 40Gbps USB4 port and a 20Gbps USB-C port, alongside Realtek 5Gbps LAN and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4. A 14+2+1 Duet Rail power design with 60A SPS, an 8-layer PCB and supplemental PCIe power keep it stable even with high-end Ryzen 9 processors.
