The Z890 AORUS ELITE WiFi7 PLUS is an ATX board from the AORUS line, built on Intel's top-tier Z890 chipset. It combines an especially strong power array, Wi-Fi 7, a 5GbE LAN and high-quality audio, aimed at builders who want an advanced, performance-rich Core Ultra platform.

Platform & chipset

The board uses the LGA1851 socket and supports Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors on the Z890 chipset. An Ultra Turbo mode is designed to unlock extra performance, while AI Perfdrive supplies an optimal, customized BIOS profile. The friendly BIOS includes multiple themes, AIO fan control and Q-Flash Auto Scan, and a new HWinfo power monitor allows real-time tracking of the CPU phases.

Memory & expansion

Four DDR5 slots support XMP profiles, and D5 Bionic Corsa technology is meant to extract memory performance. EZ-Latch Plus mechanisms allow quick, screwless release of the PCIe and M.2 slots, while EZ-Latch Click extends the screwless design to the M.2 heatsinks as well. The result is a flexible expansion layout that simplifies installing and upgrading graphics cards and storage drives.
