The Gigabyte B860M E is a Micro ATX board for Intel's newer LGA1851 platform. It supports second-generation Core Ultra processors, offers DDR5 memory and two fast M.2 slots, and is aimed at a modern, balanced system for work and play.

The board is built on the Intel B860 chipset and supports Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors in the LGA1851 socket. Its Micro ATX form factor suits both compact and standard builds. AI Perfdrive provides an optimal, customised BIOS preset profile, while a friendly interface adds multi-theme support, unified fan control and Q-Flash Auto Scan.

Memory & expansion

Two DIMM slots support DDR5 memory, with D5 Bionic Corsa technology to lift memory performance. On storage, the highlight is a pair of next-generation M.2 connectors running PCIe 4.0 x4 for fast NVMe drives, alongside SATA3 ports for additional disks. An EZ-Latch mechanism on the PCIe x16 slot allows quick release of the graphics card.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Power delivery uses a hybrid 4+1+2 phase arrangement for steady voltage to the CPU. Connectivity includes GbE wired networking and HDMI plus DisplayPort video outputs for monitors. The rear panel also offers USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 for peripherals.
