| Revew | Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE MotherboardThe Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE is an ATX motherboard for the LGA1851 socket, built for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors. It is based on the Intel Z890 chipset and supports DDR5 memory in four slots, up to 256GB and up to 8800 MT/s (OC) with XMP profiles. According to the manufacturer, the board uses a Twin 14+1+2 digital VRM with 60A DrMOS, a reinforced PCIe UD Slot X for the graphics card and four M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0 x4. It offers a USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output, 2.5GbE LAN and EZ-Latch mechanisms for screwless assembly. This model has no built-in Wi-Fi module.

- Reinforced PCIe 5.0 slot - A PCIe 5.0 x16 PCIe UD Slot X, which the manufacturer rates at 10 times the strength for heavy graphics cards, plus two PCIe 4.0 slots running at x4. The board also has two connectors for a Gigabyte Thunderbolt 5 add-in card.
- Connectivity - A USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output, DisplayPort 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, 2.5GbE LAN and an internal header for a 10Gb/s front USB-C port.
- Cooling and easy building - VRM Thermal Armor Advanced heatsinks with 5 W/mK pads and an integrated I/O shield. EZ-Latch Plus and EZ-Latch Click let you install the graphics card, M.2 drives and their heatsinks without screws, and the board has power, reset and Q-Flash Plus buttons.
