The Z890 EAGLE PLUS is a full-size ATX board on the Intel Z890 chipset, aimed at modern desktops running Intel Core Ultra 200S processors. The EAGLE line concentrates on DDR5 memory, fast storage and broad connectivity, offering a balanced base for a current build.

Platform & chipset

The board is built on the Intel Z890 chipset with the LGA1851 socket and supports the Core Ultra 200S processor family. A 14+1+2 Twin Digital VRM arrangement helps deliver steady voltage through sustained loads.

Memory & expansion

Four DIMM slots take DDR5 memory, and EAGLE boards are tuned to lift memory performance using advanced tuning methods plus a DDR5 XMP Booster that simplifies speed setup on supported kits. For expansion and storage there are four M.2 slots: one on PCIe 5.0 and three on PCIe 4.0, alongside a full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card.

Power, cooling & connectivity

Connectivity is led by a USB4 Type-C port with DP-Alt support for fast data transfer and display output, plus 2.5GbE wired LAN suited to everyday use and gaming. Onboard audio is based on the ALC1220 codec with WIMA capacitors, and EZ-Latch Plus makes installing the PCIe and M.2 slots easier.
