It is based on the Intel Z490 chipset and offers two DDR4 slots, up to 64GB and up to 4800 MHz (OC), with OptiMem III for better memory signal integrity. According to the manufacturer, the VRM has 16 x 70A power stages fed by two 8-pin CPU connectors. The board includes a ROG DIMM.2 module for two M.2 drives plus another M.2 slot, eight SATA ports, Intel 2.5Gb LAN, Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.1, SupremeFX audio and overclocking tools such as LN2 Mode, ProbeIt and Dual BIOS.
