Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro Motherboard

The Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro is an ATX motherboard for the LGA2066 socket, designed for Intel Core X-series processors in workstations and high-end PCs. It is based on the Intel X299 chipset and offers eight DDR4 slots for up to 256GB in a quad-channel architecture (with a 6-core or higher CPU), at up to 4400 MHz (OC).

The board has five x16-length PCIe 3.0 slots with support for up to three graphics cards, two M.2 slots and eight SATA ports, Intel Gigabit LAN, Realtek ALC1220 audio, USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and DualBIOS. According to the manufacturer, it uses a server-class digital power design.

• Fast storage - Two M.2 slots for SATA and PCIe x4 drives, eight SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, and support for NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 U.2 drives through an optional adapter.
• Networking, USB and audio - Intel Gigabit LAN with cFosSpeed, two ASMedia 3142 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, six rear USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and Realtek ALC1220 audio with 120dB SNR, a headphone amplifier and WIMA capacitors. A Thunderbolt 3 add-in card connector is also included.
• Reliability and lighting - DualBIOS with two BIOS chips, anti-sulfur resistors, and 25KV ESD and 15KV surge protection on the LAN port. RGB Fusion controls the onboard lighting and digital and RGBW LED strips.
