AIC RMC-1E 1U Rackmount Chassis 250W

The AIC RMC-1E is a 1U rackmount chassis with a short depth of 15 inches, intended for network and security appliances, firewalls, VPN, telephony and other space-constrained applications. It accepts a standard ATX motherboard, and a single 250W power supply is included in this model.

Inside there is room for two 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch drives, and three small fans cool the chassis. The XE1-1E001-01 model ships without mounting rails and without a riser card.

Key features

• Short depth in 1U - It measures 427 x 381 x 44.4 mm with a depth of only 15 inches, for shallow racks and places where space is tight.
• ATX motherboard support - The chassis accepts an ATX-compliant motherboard of up to 12 by 9.6 inches, and suits a network appliance built on a standard board.
• Four drive bays - Room for two 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch drives that are 7 mm thick.
• Cooling and power - Three 40 x 28 mm fans and a single 250W power supply are included in this model. The maximum CPU cooler height is 28 mm.
• Front connectivity - A Power button, a Reset button and two USB 3.0 ports on the front of the chassis.
• Steel construction - A body made of SPGC steel with a black front panel, for continuous use in a communications rack.
