| Review | Gigabyte Aorus ELITE P850W Power Supply, 80 Plus Platinum in WhiteThe Gigabyte Aorus ELITE P850W ICE is a platinum-class 850W power supply finished in white, aimed at gaming systems that call for a bright, carefully styled look. It supports the up-to-date ATX 3.1 and PCIE 5.1 standards and delivers stable, highly efficient power. Power & efficiencyThe steady 850W output suits powerful systems with an advanced graphics card. The 80 Plus Platinum rating places this supply at the top efficiency tier in the line, cutting energy lost as heat and allowing cooler, more economical operation even under sustained load. Cables & connectorsThe unit offers a 6X8 PIN graphics-card feed alongside a dedicated 12VHPWR connector to the ATX 3.1 specification for new-generation cards, plus a 2X4+4 PIN CPU connector for stable processor power. The connector set answers the needs of gaming systems with high power demands. Reliability & coolingA 12 cm fan runs in ZERO RPM mode, so at low loads the fan stops completely and the supply operates in total silence. Under heavier loads cooling ramps up gradually, keeping comfortable temperatures over time and supporting high reliability.
