AMD EPYC 9655 Processor

The AMD EPYC 9655 is a server processor from the AMD EPYC 9005 Series on the Zen 5 architecture, with 96 cores and 192 threads, a base clock of 2.6GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.5GHz. It is built for the SP5 socket and supports single-processor and dual-processor server configurations.

The processor suits engineering simulation (CAE, CFD and FEA), high-capacity data management and HPC. It has 384MB of L3 cache, 12 channels of DDR5 memory and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, with a default TDP of 400W.

• PCIe 5.0 and the SP5 socket - 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes connect graphics cards, accelerators, drives and fast network adapters. Both 1P and 2P configurations are supported.
• Thermal design power and security - A default TDP of 400W, configurable in the range of 320-400W. The processor supports AMD Infinity Guard and AMD Infinity Architecture technologies.
