The Intel Xeon Gold 5317 is a server processor from the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable family (code name Ice Lake), designed for servers and workstations in business environments. It has 12 cores and 24 threads, a 3.00GHz base clock and a boost clock of up to 3.60GHz.

The processor fits the FCLGA4189 socket, supports eight-channel DDR4-2933 ECC memory and PCIe 4.0 with 64 lanes, and allows server configurations of up to two processors. This model is supplied in Tray packaging, without a retail box.
