The Intel Core i9-12900KF is a 12th Gen (Alder Lake) desktop processor for the LGA1700 socket with 16 cores (8 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores), 24 threads and a turbo frequency of up to 5.2GHz. It suits gaming PCs and demanding software.

In the KF version the multiplier is unlocked for overclocking and there are no integrated graphics, so a separate graphics card must be used. The processor supports DDR5 memory up to 4800MT/s or DDR4 up to 3200MT/s and PCIe 5.0.

• KF version without integrated graphics - The F suffix means the processor requires a discrete graphics card. It is a good fit for a gaming PC or workstation that has a dedicated graphics card anyway.
• Unlocked for overclocking - As a K-series processor, the multiplier is unlocked for overclocking on a supporting motherboard. Base power is 125W and maximum turbo power reaches 241W, so a high-quality cooling system is recommended.
