The Intel Core i7 12700F is a 12th Gen Intel (Alder Lake) desktop processor with a hybrid architecture that combines 8 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores. Together they deliver 20 threads, a turbo frequency of up to 4.9GHz and 25MB of Intel Smart Cache for gaming, heavy office work and multitasking.

The processor fits the LGA1700 socket, supports DDR5 memory up to 4800 MT/s or DDR4 up to 3200 MT/s, and offers PCI Express 5.0. The F model has no integrated graphics, so a discrete graphics card is required. Processor base power is just 65W, with maximum turbo power of 180W.
