RAID Controller Gigabyte CMT3160

The Gigabyte CMT3160 is a low-profile RAID card that lets a server host four M.2 NVMe drives. It is based on the Broadcom SAS3816 controller, and each of the four M.2 slots runs at PCIe Gen4 x4 and takes 2280 or 22110 drives.

The card fits a PCIe x16 slot and runs at Gen4 x8 speed, with RAID 0, 1 and 10 to combine the drives into a fast or protected array. According to Gigabyte it is compatible only with Gigabyte servers, so it is intended for expanding storage in existing Gigabyte servers.
