RAID Controller Gigabyte CRA3338

The Gigabyte CRA3338 is a low-profile controller card based on the Broadcom SAS3008 chip with a 1.2GHz PowerPC 476 processor. Two internal Mini-SAS HD connectors attach up to 8 SAS or SATA drives directly, or up to 14 drives through a SAS expander.

The card supports Integrated RAID levels 0, 1, 1E and 10, or HBA operation with up to 512 devices. According to Gigabyte it is compatible only with Gigabyte servers, so it is intended for expanding or servicing existing Gigabyte servers.
