Kingston FURY Impact 16GB DDR5-6400 CL38 SODIMM Laptop Memory Module XMP

The Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 is a SODIMM memory module built for laptops and mini PCs that support DDR5. The KF564S38IB-16 model provides 16GB in a single module at 6400MT/s with CL38 latency.

By default the module runs at the JEDEC DDR5-4800 speed, and the Intel XMP 3.0 profile lets it reach DDR5-6400 at CL38 and 1.35V when the profile is selected in the BIOS, subject to system support.

Key features

• DDR5-6400 at CL38 - The first XMP profile runs the module at DDR5-6400 with CL38-40-40 timings at 1.35V. A second profile is set to DDR5-6000 CL38-38-38 and a third to DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40 at 1.1V.
• Intel XMP 3.0 support - Three XMP 3.0 profiles are stored in the SPD and selected in the BIOS, with no manual timing tuning.

• JEDEC SPD default - The default is DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 at 1.1V, so the module also works on systems that do not enable an XMP profile.
• 16GB in a single module - A single rank (1Rx8) module organized as 2G x 64-bit, based on 8 x 2G x 8-bit FBGA components. Suited to memory upgrades in laptops and mini PCs with DDR5 SODIMM sockets.

• SODIMM design with heat spreader - A 262-pin module with gold contacts, 30 mm high and 3.8 mm thick, weighing about 8.4 g, in the black finish of the FURY series.
• On-die ECC - On-Die ECC improves the stability of DDR5 memory. The module is not full ECC memory.
