| Revew | D-Link D-View 6.0 Standard DV-600S Network Management SoftwareD-View 6.0 Standard (DV-600S) is SNMP-based network management software for administering network devices from a single console. This edition is aimed at small and medium businesses and networks of up to about 1,000 nodes. The software discovers devices, builds a topology map, shows device status in real time and sends alerts. It runs as a standalone, single-user application with a Microsoft Access database. 
Key features- Automatic discovery and topology maps - Using SNMP or ICMP, the software finds devices and generates a network topology diagram with one click. The diagram can also be laid over a building blueprint.
- Batch configuration and firmware upgrades - Select a group of switches and update firmware or change settings in a single operation, which saves time during network setup and routine maintenance.
- Real-time monitoring and alerts - The software polls devices, shows their status and receives trap messages. Alerts can be sent by e-mail and sound, and events can be filtered by type, severity, time and device.
- Performance charts and statistics - Charts of packet flow, packet types and port flow help locate congestion and faults.
- Third-party device support - The MIB compiler and MIB browser load MIB files from other vendors, so mixed-vendor networks can be managed as well.
- Security and access control - SNMPv3 support for the main MIB modules, plus local or RADIUS user authentication.
