Sound Blaster AE-7 Internal PCI-e Sound Card & DAC

Featuring pristine audio fidelity alongside Sound Blaster's audio processing legacy, the AE-7 takes the audio game up a notch and will awe you with its audiophile-grade components, with playback exceeding massively popular desktop amps and DACs. It is an internal PCI-e sound card and DAC built for audio enthusiasts and gamers chasing maximum quality.

Audio processor & DAC

A dedicated quad-core processor handles audio processing on the card itself, freeing up your CPU for other tasks. An ESS SABRE-class 9018 DAC delivers an incredibly clean 127 dB dynamic-range audio stream at up to 32-bit / 384 kHz PCM and DSD64 playback, with a THD+N of just 0.0001%.

Headphone amplifier

A custom Xamp Discrete Headphone Bi-amplifier powers each earcup individually, with an ultra-low 1 Ohm output impedance driving headphones up to 600 Ohm (16-600 Ohm supported). The result is controlled, powerful sound even for demanding headphones.

Surround sound & control

The card delivers theatrical-grade audio with discrete 5.1 and up to 7.1 virtual surround, plus Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect, all controlled via the included Audio Control Module (ACM). Connectivity includes a TOSLINK optical out and multiple 3.5mm jacks. The main card measures 145 x 20 x 128 mm and the ACM measures 100 x 92 x 70 mm.
