The Western Digital My Book is a desktop external hard drive for backing up and archiving photos, videos, music and documents. The 8TB model is ready to use out of the box with the exFAT file system and works directly with Windows and macOS.

It connects over the included SuperSpeed USB-A cable (5Gbps) and is powered by an AC adapter. The bundled software lets you schedule backups, protect your files with a password and reduce the damage from ransomware attacks.
