External Burner Verbatim External Slimline CD/DVD Writer USB-C

The Verbatim External Slimline CD/DVD Writer (part number 43886) is an extra-slim external CD/DVD writer, just 11 mm thick in a brushed metal enclosure, that connects via USB-C to USB 3.2 Gen 1. A USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter are included, so it works with any computer.

It is made mainly for notebooks and ultrabooks without an optical drive: installing software from disc, watching content, burning backups and archiving photos and documents. It is powered through the USB port with no separate adapter, and weighs only 237 g.

The drive writes DVD±R at 8x, DVD±R DL at 6x and CD-R/RW at 24x, supports 12 cm and 8 cm discs and is fully compliant with M-DISC archiving technology. Nero Burn & Archive software (Windows) with DiscSpan and SecureDisc is included. It works with Windows 11/10/8/7 and Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
