iStorage diskAshur DT2 3TB Encrypted External Hard Drive

The iStorage diskAshur DT2 is an encrypted desktop external hard drive that unlocks with a PIN typed on the keypad built into the drive. Data is encrypted in real time with AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, and no software installation is needed.

The 3TB model is certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 2, NCSC CPA, NLNCSA BSPA and NATO Restricted and includes a Common Criteria EAL5+ secure microprocessor. It suits organizations, government bodies and anyone who needs to store large amounts of sensitive data.

Key features

• AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption - All data is encrypted in real time by the drive itself, independent of the operating system. A Common Criteria EAL5+ secure microprocessor defends against physical tampering.
• PIN access - A 7 to 15 digit PIN is typed on the built-in keypad. Separate Admin and User PINs and a self-destruct PIN can be set.
• Brute-force protection - After repeated wrong attempts the drive locks, and on the 15th wrong attempt the encryption key is deleted and the data cannot be recovered. It locks automatically when unplugged or after a programmable idle time.
• 3TB capacity and USB 3.2 speed - USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection of up to 5Gbps, backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0. Read speed of up to 286 MB/s and write speed of up to 278 MB/s.
• No software, any operating system - Works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome and embedded systems without drivers or software. A read-only mode protects against accidental writes and malware.
• Durable aluminium enclosure - Aluminium enclosure with epoxy-coated components, dust and water resistant and tamper-evident. Includes a Kensington lock slot.
