The Seagate Exos 7E10 is a 3.5-inch enterprise hard drive built for 24x7 operation in servers, RAID arrays, storage systems and backup appliances. Model ST10000NM017B offers 10TB of capacity, a 7200 RPM spindle speed, 256MB of cache and a SATA 6Gb/s interface, with a sustained transfer rate of up to 263MB/s.

The drive is rated for workloads of up to 550TB per year and 2,000,000 hours MTBF, and combines on-the-fly error correction with a design that withstands rotational vibration in multi-drive enclosures. It ships in 512e format and can be switched quickly to 4Kn with Fast Format.
