Adata LEGEND 960 1TB SSD

The ADATA LEGEND 960 is an M.2 2280 SSD with a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 support for laptops and desktops on current Intel and AMD platforms. The 1TB model delivers sequential reads of up to 7,400MB/s and sequential writes of up to 6,000MB/s, and it is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0.

A black heat sink with bronze trim dissipates heat, and the SMI SM2264 controller with DRAM cache and SLC caching keeps performance high during multitasking. The drive also works as expanded storage in a PS5 console, while LDPC error correction and AES 256-bit encryption protect your data.

Key features

• PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe - Sequential reads up to 7,400MB/s and sequential writes up to 6,000MB/s at 1TB. On a PCIe 3.0 board it runs at up to 3,400/3,000MB/s.
• DRAM and SLC cache - SMI SM2264 controller with DRAM cache and SLC caching, with up to 730K/610K IOPS 4K random read/write.
• Works with PS5 - The drive fits the PS5 expansion slot to add storage for games.
• Heat sink - A black heat sink with bronze trim and a sandblasted surface dissipates heat effectively.
• Reliability - LDPC error correction, AES 256-bit encryption, 780TB TBW and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.
