SSD Disk Kingston SNV3S/500G M.2 2280 500GB

SSD Kingston NV3 SNV3S/500G

The Kingston NV3 SNV3S/500G is an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2280 form factor, built on a Gen 4x4 controller and 3D NAND. It reaches sequential reads of up to 5,000MB/s and writes of up to 3,000MB/s, several times faster than a typical SATA drive.

It is a straightforward upgrade for thin laptops, small-form-factor PCs and desktops with an M.2 slot: the operating system boots faster, applications and games load almost instantly and an older computer feels new again.

The single-sided design is only 2.3 mm thick, so it fits in tight spaces. Kingston designed the NV3 series for low power consumption and reduced heat, with a 160TBW endurance rating and 2,000,000 hours MTBF.

Key features

• Gen 4x4 NVMe PCIe performance - A Gen 4x4 NVMe controller delivers up to 5,000MB/s read and 3,000MB/s write on the 500GB model, for quick boot times and fast loading of large files.
• Low power, less heat - The NV3 series is designed for lower power consumption and reduced heat, which matters in laptops and compact cases with limited airflow.

• Small size for tight spaces - A single-sided M.2 2280 design measuring 22x80x2.3 mm and weighing just 7 g, ideal for thin laptops and small-form-factor PCs with an M.2 connector.
• Proven endurance - A 160TBW endurance rating based on the JEDEC Client Workload, 2,000,000 hours MTBF and 20G (10-1000Hz) non-operating vibration resistance.

• Simple, affordable upgrade - No moving parts and no cables: insert it into the M.2 slot, fix it with one screw and the computer gains modern SSD speed. Clone the old drive and keep working right away.
