Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB SSD

The Samsung 990 EVO Plus is an M.2 2280 SSD that runs over PCIe 4.0 x4 or PCIe 5.0 x2 with the NVMe 2.0 protocol. At 1TB it reaches sequential reads of up to 7,150MB/s and writes of up to 6,300MB/s, using Samsung V-NAND TLC and a Samsung in-house controller.

The drive is DRAM-less and uses HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology, while a nickel-coated controller improves performance per watt by up to 73% over the previous model. It suits laptop and desktop upgrades, and Samsung Magician software helps you migrate data, monitor the drive and update firmware.
