Sandisk Optimus GX PRO 8100 NVMe 1TB SSD

The SanDisk Optimus GX PRO 8100 is an NVMe SSD with a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, built for gaming PCs, workstations and content creation PCs. The 1TB version reaches sequential reads of up to 14,900MB/s and sequential writes of up to 11,000MB/s.

The drive uses SanDisk's 8th generation BiCS TLC 3D CBA NAND with DRAM and nCache 4.0 caching. This is the version without a heatsink, in a single-sided M.2 2280 form factor, and it also works in PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 slots.

• Power efficiency - Average power of about 6.2W when reading and about 6.1W when writing. The manufacturer rates its power efficiency at over 2x that of the PCIe 4.0 Optimus GX PRO 850X drives.
• Security and software - TCG Opal 2.02 encryption support, SanDisk Dashboard for Windows and Acronis True Image for SanDisk.
