Western Digital WD Green WDS240G2G0B 240GB M.2 2280 SATA Internal SSD

The WD Green WDS240G2G0B is a 240GB internal SSD from Western Digital's WD Green series, in the M.2 2280 form factor with a SATA III 6Gb/s interface. Please note: this is an M.2 SATA drive, not an NVMe drive, so it is intended for an M.2 slot that supports the SATA protocol.

Sequential read speed reaches up to 545MB/s, and the drive is designed to speed up system start-up, application launch and everyday work compared with a mechanical hard drive. It suits web browsing, office work, watching videos and casual gaming.

As a solid-state drive with no moving parts, it is light, quiet and more resistant to accidental bumps and drops. It is suited to upgrading laptops and desktops that have an M.2 2280 slot and is a simple way to add fast storage to an older computer.
