XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE 8TB SSD

The 8TB XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE is an M.2 2280 SSD with a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 support for gamers, content creators and high-end PCs. It delivers sequential reads of up to 7,400MB/s and sequential writes of up to 6,800MB/s and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0.

An InnoGrit IG5236 controller with DRAM cache and SLC caching keeps speeds high for video editing, rendering and gaming, and a high-temperature resistant aluminum heat sink lowers temperatures by up to 20 percent. 8TB is room for a very large game library, and the drive also works as expanded storage in a PS5.

Key features

• PCIe Gen4 x4 - Sequential reads up to 7,400MB/s and sequential writes up to 6,800MB/s on PC. On a PCIe 3.0 board it runs at up to 3,400/3,000MB/s.
• 8TB for PS5 - Fits the PS5 expansion slot with reads of up to 6,300MB/s on the console, adding room for dozens of games.
• Aluminum heat sink - A high-temperature resistant heat sink lowers temperatures by up to 20 percent, with ridged geometric lines.
• DRAM and SLC caching - DRAM cache and dynamic SLC caching boost performance for video editing, rendering and gaming.
• Security and reliability - LDPC error correction, E2E data protection, a RAID engine, AES 256-bit encryption, 5,920TB TBW and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.
