Lexar NM790 2TB - Fast SSD for a Smart Upgrade

The 2TB Lexar NM790 is an M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD that makes an excellent, great-value upgrade for any modern PC. It offers an ideal balance of capacity, speed and price, and suits gamers and users who want short load times and a fast, responsive system. The drive is also PlayStation 5 compatible.

High PCIe Gen4 Performance

The drive uses a PCIe Gen4x4 interface to reach sequential reads of up to 7400MB/s and writes of up to 6500MB/s, with random performance up to 1000K IOPS. The system boots quickly, apps open instantly and games load in seconds.

Smart, Efficient Technology

The drive is built on 3D TLC NAND and uses a DRAM-less architecture with Host Memory Buffer (HMB) and Dynamic SLC Cache to maintain consistent performance. Its efficient draw - up to 40% less power than Gen4 drives with dedicated DRAM - contributes to lower temperatures and longer battery life.

Easy-to-Install M.2 2280 Form Factor

In the standard M.2 2280 form factor, the drive fits a wide range of desktops, laptops and consoles and installs easily into an M.2 slot.
