The Sandisk SSD PLUS 480GB (part number SDSSDA-480G-G26) is an internal 2.5-inch SSD, 7mm thick, with a SATA III (6Gb/s) interface. It reaches sequential read speeds of up to 535 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 445 MB/s.

The model is intended for upgrading desktops and laptops that still use a mechanical hard drive or an older SATA drive, and it fits any computer with a 2.5-inch bay and a SATA connection. It does not need an M.2 slot or NVMe support. A capacity of 480GB is enough for an operating system, applications and personal files on an office or home computer.
