The Black & Decker PH5551 is a corded hedge trimmer on a telescopic pole, designed for trimming and shaping tall hedges and shrubs without climbing a ladder. The pole extends to a usable length of up to 2.3 m and gives a total reach of about 3.8 m, so even the highest hedges can be handled from the ground.

A 550W motor drives a 51 cm blade with a 22 mm blade gap, and the head pivots through 180 degrees and locks into 5 positions for comfortable, safe work at any angle. The trimmer runs on mains power and weighs 4.1 kg.
