The Black & Decker Workmate WM550 is a portable, multi-purpose workbench that works as a workbench, a bench tool stand, a vice and a sawhorse. It suits drilling, screwing, sanding, cutting and gluing jobs, and carries a load of up to 250 kg.

Two working heights of 775 and 595 mm, two clamping cranks and adjustable swivel pegs let you hold workpieces of different sizes between the jaws, and a front jaw that swings up allows vertical clamping of odd-shaped objects. The steel frame stands on anti-slip rubber feet, and the bench folds flat for compact storage and easy transport.
