EKO Econova EK9578 60L Sensor Bin, Stainless Steel

The EKO Econova EK9578 is a rectangular 60-liter smart bin in stainless steel with a fingerprint-resistant finish, an upgrade of the EKO Horizon series. An infrared sensor detects a hand or object within about 20 cm and opens the lid without touch, and LEDs count down 5 seconds before the lid closes softly and quietly by itself.

Touch buttons let you open and close the lid manually and keep it open for longer tasks. A liner ring holds the bag in place and hides its edges, the flat back lets the bin stand against a wall, and it runs on 4 AA batteries.

Key features

• Soft and safe closing - A quiet soft-close lid and a mechanism that prevents slamming or forcing the lid, which could damage the drive.
• Bag ring - A liner ring holds the bag in place and hides its edges, so the bin always looks tidy.
• Fingerprint-resistant steel - Stainless steel body with a fingerprint-resistant finish and a flat back that fits against a wall to save space.
