ASUS VivoBook S 14 - Copilot+ Laptop with a Snapdragon X Processor and 2.5K Screen

The ASUS VivoBook S 14 in its Snapdragon form is a slim 14-inch laptop that represents the new generation of ARM-based Windows machines. This model carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1 processor with a powerful AI accelerator, 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage, and ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. The emphasis here is on energy efficiency, quiet operation and advanced on-device AI capabilities.

Display & performance

The 14-inch screen is an IPS panel at 2560x1600, providing high sharpness and comfortable vertical workspace in a 16:10 ratio. Its matte Anti Glare coating cuts reflections. At the core is the Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1 with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU rated up to 45 TOPS for AI workloads, alongside integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU graphics. The efficient ARM architecture is well suited to long, quiet mobile work.

Memory & storage

The laptop is equipped with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD, providing a wide storage space and fast loading. It is worth noting that the memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded, so the base configuration was chosen to offer enough capacity for multitasking and for storing files over time.

Connectivity & battery

The port array includes a fast USB4 port, a USB Type-C port and an HDMI output for an external display. Wireless connectivity is based on Wi-Fi 6 in a 2x2 arrangement for a fast, stable link, alongside Bluetooth 5.3. A single-color backlit keyboard and a 1080P webcam complete the package. Note that the machine has no wired Ethernet port, and connectivity relies on the wireless network.
