The Panasonic Toughbook 55 mk3 (FZ-55 mk3) is a semi-rugged 14" laptop built for field work, vehicles and harsh environments. Its magnesium alloy chassis with a built-in carry handle meets MIL-STD-810H, including 91 cm drops, and IP53 against dust and water splashes, and operates from -29 to +60 degrees Celsius. This version has a Full HD touch screen with 1000 nits that stays readable in sunlight and works with gloves and a pen.

Inside are an Intel Core i5-1345U vPro processor up to 4.7GHz, 16GB of DDR4 memory expandable to 64GB and a removable 512GB NVMe OPAL SSD with a heater. The laptop is modular: the xPAK expansion areas take an optical drive, a second SSD, a second battery, a smart card reader, a fingerprint reader and VGA and Serial ports. It comes with Windows 11 Pro, a 2MP IR camera and a Hebrew-engraved keyboard.
