Siklu EtherHaul 8010FX ODU TX High Wireless Bridge Unit

The Siklu EtherHaul 8010FX is a millimeter wave radio for point-to-point (PtP) links in the 71-76GHz and 81-86GHz E-band. It delivers up to 10Gbps full duplex (with a capacity license) and is designed for metro networks, backhaul, fiber extension and multi-gigabit building-to-building links.

This unit is the TX High side of the link, with a port for an external antenna. A complete link also needs a matching TX Low unit (EH-8010FX-ODUL) and a 1ft or 2ft antenna on each side. Capacity scales from 2Gbps to 10Gbps by license, and the IP67 housing is built for all weather conditions.

Key features

• Up to 10Gbps full duplex - Capacity from 2Gbps to 10Gbps in each direction, depending on the capacity license, with low latency and fiber-like performance.
• Interference-free E-band - Operation at 71-76GHz and 81-86GHz with channels of up to 2,000MHz. The narrow pencil-beam antenna allows high frequency reuse with practically no interference.
• Long reach - Up to 3.8 km at 10Gbps and up to 5.6 km at 2Gbps at 99.95% availability with 2ft antennas, depending on the rain zone.
• Copper or fiber - A combo 10GE port: RJ-45 (CAT6a or better) or SFP+ for single-mode or multi-mode fiber, plus a 1GE RJ-45 port for management and traffic.
• Dual power input - PoE++ over four pairs or 42-57VDC direct power, with hot standby between the two sources.
• Easy setup and management - The unit comes pre-configured, and the web GUI manages both ends of the link. CLI, SNMPv2/3, TACACS+ and RADIUS are supported over IPv4 and IPv6.
