Cable Extension Cable D-Link HDF-400 Extension Cable 3m ANT24-CB03N

D-Link HDF-400 Extension Cable 3m

The D-Link ANT24-CB03N is a 3-meter RF extension cable designed for outdoor or rooftop installations where distance is needed between the wireless access point and the antenna. With it, an access point installed indoors can be connected to an outdoor antenna from the D-Link ANT24 line.

The cable is based on the HDF-400 specification to minimize signal loss, has 50 Ohm impedance, and its frequency response matches the 2.4 GHz band. One end has an N plug and the other an N jack, so several cables can also be connected in series.

Key features

• Low-loss HDF-400 cable - Signal loss is about 0.2 dB per meter and up to about 1 dB for the whole cable, so the antenna keeps almost all of its gain.
• Pre-installed connectors - An N male connector on one end and an N female connector on the other come fitted to a pre-cut cable, with no connectors to assemble on site.
• Matched to 2.4 GHz networks - The frequency response of the cable matches the 2.4 GHz ISM band, making it suitable for IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g WLANs.
• 50 Ohm impedance - The matched impedance avoids standing wave (VSWR) issues and allows use with most D-Link WLAN products.
• Can be chained - Cables in the series come in 3, 6 and 9 meter lengths, can be connected to each other and installed together with a surge protector.
