The Omada TL-SM5220-1M by TP-Link is a passive twinax DAC cable 1 m long with an SFP+ connector built into each end. It carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet without separate optical modules or fiber patch cords, which makes it a cost-effective option for short links.

The cable connects switches, servers, NAS units, routers and network cards with SFP+ ports inside a rack or across adjacent racks. The conductor is silver-plated copper, and the cable operates at 0 to 70 degrees Celsius.
