Siklu EtherHaul EH-ANT-0.5ft E-Band Antenna
The Siklu EH-ANT-0.5ft is a compact 16cm (0.5ft) antenna for EtherHaul E-band wireless bridges. It operates at 71-86GHz, provides 38dBi of gain with a beamwidth of only 2 degrees, and attaches directly to the radio through a circular E-band waveguide interface.
The antenna is designed for the small EH-700TX, EH-710T and EH-710TX radios and suits short and medium point-to-point links, for example between nearby buildings or at street level. According to Siklu it complies with ETSI and is not permitted for use in the USA (FCC). Pole mounting requires the Siklu EH-MK-SM mounting kit.
Key features
- High gain in a small size - Only 16cm across with 38dBi of gain and a narrow 2 degree beam that concentrates the signal toward the unit at the far end of the link.
- Direct mount on the radio - The antenna attaches directly to EH-700TX, EH-710T and EH-710TX units through a circular E-band waveguide interface, with no RF cable between antenna and radio.
- Built for outdoor use - Plastic radome, IP67 when mounted on the radio according to the Siklu installation guide, wind survival up to 220km/h and 25mm radial ice.
- Light and easy to align - It weighs just 980g. Together with the EH-MK-SM mounting kit, the radio and antenna can be aligned at elevation angles of up to +60 and -45 degrees.
