| Revew | Ubiquiti UMA-D Directional Dual-Band AntennaThe Ubiquiti UMA-D is a directional dual-band mesh antenna designed to work with the UniFi AC Mesh access point (UAP-AC-M). It is an optional antenna that connects to the access point, extends its coverage range and lets you shape the radiation pattern to the area you need to cover. It works on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with dual polarity and is optimized for 802.11ac. The enclosure is made of UV-stabilized plastic for indoor or outdoor installation, and wall and pole mounting kits are included.
Key features- High gain on both bands - 15 dBi at 5 GHz and 10 dBi at 2.4 GHz, with 45° and 90° beamwidth respectively, for focused coverage of a yard, a parking lot or a nearby building.
- Dual polarity for 802.11ac - Dual-linear polarization with 30 dB cross-pol isolation at 5 GHz and 25 dB at 2.4 GHz, matched to 802.11ac and to the two RF connections of the access point.
- Three-axis ball-joint mount - A ball joint with a lock ring lets you aim the antenna precisely and lock it in position.
- Wall or pole mounting - A wall mount plate with screws and anchors and a metal strap for pole mounting are included.
- Outdoor enclosure - UV-stabilized plastic allows the antenna to be installed both outdoors and indoors.
- Direct connection to UAP-AC-M - Two RP-SMA connectors and the two included RF cables connect the antenna straight to the UniFi AC Mesh access point.
