The Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520-DA1 is a single-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet card with an SFP+ port from the Intel Ethernet Server Adapter X520 family. It is built on the Intel 82599 controller, connects through PCI Express 2.0 x8 and is designed for servers and workstations that need a fast link to the network or to storage.

The port works with SFP+ Direct Attach (twinax) copper cables up to 10 m long. The card supports Intel virtualization technologies such as VMDq, SR-IOV and Flexible Port Partitioning, iSCSI and NFS storage, and fits both full-height and low-profile brackets.
