PCI-E Network Card Gigabyte GC-WiFi7

Gigabyte GC-WiFi7 2.0 Wireless PCIe Card

The Gigabyte GC-WiFi7 2.0 is an internal expansion card that adds a built-in Wi-Fi 7 module alongside Bluetooth 5.3 to a PC. It is meant to upgrade desktop machines with fast, stable wireless connectivity, and its WIFI EZ-Plug design makes antenna installation quick and simple.

Purpose

The card is aimed at users who want advanced Wi-Fi 7 generation connectivity that can draw on all three bands - 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz. It suits systems running Windows 11 only and provides high-speed wireless links while remaining compatible with earlier 802.11 standards.

Capabilities

It supports fast wireless connections of up to 5800Mbps and offers up to 320MHz of bandwidth on each band. MLO (Multi-Link Operation) enables simultaneous connections across two bands, while MRU (Multiple RU) improves interference mitigation and OFDMA efficiency. 4K-QAM modulation allows higher transmission rates and so raises overall efficiency, with MU-MIMO TX/RX support as well.

Connectivity & compatibility

The card connects through a PCIe interface and meets the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards. It is fitted with an ultra-high gain 2Tx2R antenna that supports both directional and omnidirectional signals. Built-in Bluetooth 5.3 rounds out the wireless connectivity. Windows 11 is required.
