USB Network Card TP-Link TL-WN8200ND

The TP-Link TL-WN8200ND is a high power wireless USB adapter that gives a desktop or laptop strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi reception on the 802.11n standard at up to 300Mbps.

According to TP-Link, the high power design delivers up to 10 times the range of a conventional USB adapter and better penetration through walls and floors. It suits a computer in a far room, on another floor or simply too far from the router.

The adapter is a desktop-style base with two detachable, rotatable 5dBi antennas and comes with a 1.5 m USB extension cable, so it can stand high up or near a window instead of plugging straight into the back of the PC.

Key features

• Two detachable 5dBi antennas - Two external omni-directional 5dBi antennas can be rotated and aimed. Thanks to the standard RP-SMA connector they can be replaced with other indoor antennas or a directional antenna for wider coverage.
• High transmit power - TP-Link states up to 10 times the range of a normal power USB adapter, with strong penetration through several walls or floors. Transmit power is 20dBm (CE).
• High receive sensitivity - The receive sensitivity lets you move further away from the access point while keeping a stable signal, without hunting for the right spot in the room.

• Desktop base and 1.5 m extension cable - The desktop-style design helps reception, and the USB extension cable lets you place the adapter away from the back of a desktop PC, in the open.
• One button WPS security - Press the WPS button on the adapter and on the router to set up a WPA encrypted connection without typing a password.
• Wide OS support - Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7/XP, Mac OS X and Linux per TP-Link, with a resource CD and setup wizard.
