| Revew | Alta Labs AP6W Wi-Fi 6 Wall-Mount Access PointThe Alta Labs AP6W is a compact Wi-Fi 6 access point for mounting on a wall or a junction box, suited to hotels, restaurants, apartment buildings, offices and homes. It is dual-band with 2x2 MIMO on each band, reaching up to 574Mbps on 2.4GHz and up to 2.4Gbps on 5GHz. The access point has three Gigabit ports: a PoE input on the back, a PoE input on the bottom and a PoE OUT port that powers another device, such as a VoIP phone, with up to 15W. Management is done in the cloud and in the Alta Networks app, and initial setup works over Bluetooth.

- PoE passthrough - The PoE OUT port powers another device with up to 15W when the access point is powered by PoE+ (802.3at). It can be powered from the PoE input on the back or bottom, or from a 12V adapter (not included).
- AltaPass - Patented technology that allows several passwords on the same SSID, each with its own VLAN, speed limit and hotspot, filter or schedule bypass.
- DPI content filtering - A built-in Deep Packet Inspection engine blocks websites, applications or application types without extra hardware.
- Cloud and app management - Multi-site cloud management, the Alta Networks app, Bluetooth setup, a hotspot with a landing page and changes without a reboot.
- Security and roaming - WPA2 and WPA3 Personal and Enterprise, up to 8 SSIDs per radio, 802.1Q VLANs, 802.11r/k/v roaming and guest traffic isolation.
