| Revew | Wireless Router DrayTek Vigor2136axThe DrayTek Vigor2136ax is a router for small businesses and home offices built for fast fibre connections: a 2.5GbE WAN port plus a second 2.5GbE port that can work as a second WAN or as LAN, alongside three Gigabit LAN ports. NAT throughput reaches up to 2.3Gbps, so internet plans faster than 1Gbps are fully used. The Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 wireless network runs on 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously with OFDMA, MU-MIMO and WPA3. The router offers IPsec, OpenVPN and WireGuard VPN for branches and remote workers, an SPI firewall with content filtering, up to 4 LAN subnets with VLANs, two USB ports for a cellular modem, and central management of DrayTek access points and switches.
Key features- 2.5GbE for fibre - A 2.5GbE WAN port and a second 2.5GbE port switchable between WAN and LAN, with up to 2.3Gbps NAT throughput and 50,000 sessions.
- Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 - Dual-band 2x2 wireless with PHY rates up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and band steering.
- Business VPN - Up to 16 concurrent VPN tunnels, hardware-accelerated IPsec up to 390Mbps, plus OpenVPN, WireGuard, IKEv2 and L2TP over IPsec.
- Firewall and filtering - SPI firewall, application, URL and DNS keyword filtering, DoS defence and user and group based access control.
- Connection backup - Two USB 2.0 ports for a cellular modem, 2.4GHz or 5GHz wireless WAN, and failover between internet lines.
