TP-Link Deco X20 (3-pack)

TP-Link Deco X20 (3-pack) Mesh Wi-Fi System

The TP-Link Deco X20 (3-pack) is a whole-home Wi-Fi 6 mesh system with three Deco units. The units link together into one network with a single network name, so phones and laptops switch automatically to the best unit as you move around the home. The system delivers up to 1201Mbps on 5GHz and up to 574Mbps on 2.4GHz, with coverage of up to 5,800 sq ft.

Each unit has two Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing, and the units can also be linked by Ethernet cable. Setup and management are done in the Deco app, and the system includes WPA3 encryption and TP-Link HomeShield with parental controls and QoS.

Key features

• AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 - Up to 1201Mbps on 5GHz and up to 574Mbps on 2.4GHz, with 1024-QAM for higher data rates and low latency in gaming and video calls.
• Whole-home coverage - The three units cover up to 5,800 sq ft and suit 4 to 6 bedroom houses. Beamforming and BSS Color strengthen the signal, and more Deco units can be added to extend coverage.
• More than 150 devices - OFDMA and MU-MIMO communicate with many devices at once, and the system is tested with more than 150 connected devices.
• One network, seamless roaming - The Deco units form one network and devices automatically connect to the fastest unit. AI-Driven Mesh learns the network environment and usage to tune the network for the home.
• Security and parental controls - WPA3 encryption, an SPI firewall and guest networks on both bands, plus HomeShield with parental controls, per-device QoS and usage reports. Some features require a HomeShield Pro subscription.
• App setup and management - The Deco app guides setup step by step and lets you manage the network remotely. The system also supports voice control with Alexa.
