ATEN EA1442 Reed Door Sensor

The ATEN EA1442 is a magnetic reed door sensor for network and server racks. It works together with ATEN eco PDUs to monitor access to the rack enclosure and notify users when the door has been opened.

The kit includes a switch and a magnet: one is attached to the door and the other to the rack frame with adhesive tape, and the wires connect to the D+ and Ground contacts on the PDU or Energy Box. The sensor is supported by the ATEN PE7, PE8 and PE9 series.

• Rack door monitoring - Detects when the rack door is opened and passes the information to the PDU for alerts and remote management.
• Configurable alarms - The PDU raises alarms by user-defined minimum and maximum settings, together with the other rack monitoring data.
• High sensitivity, easy operation - A highly sensitive magnetic reed sensor with a sense gap of at least 16 mm and simple operation.
• Simple installation - The switch and magnet stick to the door and frame with adhesive tape, inside or outside, so the door closes normally.
