VoIP Gateway Grandstream HT841

The Grandstream HT841 is an analog FXO gateway that connects up to 4 regular telephone lines (PSTN) to an IP PBX, whether on premise or hosted. This lets a business keep its existing lines and route incoming and outgoing calls through its VoIP system, even across multiple locations.

In addition to the FXO ports, the gateway has one FXS port for an analog phone or fax, with lifeline support that hard-relays it to an FXO line during a power outage. Two Gigabit ports, PoE power, T.38 fax support and SRTP/TLS encryption make it a compact solution for small and medium businesses. The series also includes the HT881 with 8 FXO ports.

• 4 FXO ports for analog lines - Connect up to 4 analog phone lines to an on-premise or hosted IP PBX for incoming and outgoing calls over the existing business lines.
• FXS port with lifeline - An FXS port for an analog phone or fax. During a power outage it is hard-relayed to an FXO line, so calls can still be made.
• Two Gigabit ports and PoE - Two 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, one with 802.3af PoE input. Built-in NAT router, up to 1000 Mbps in bridge mode and up to 100 Mbps in NAT mode.
• Voice and fax quality - G.711, G.729, G.726, iLBC and Opus codecs, advanced line echo cancellation and T.38 fax up to 14.4 kbps with automatic switch to G.711. 3-way conferencing per port.
• Security and management - SRTP and TLS encryption with a unique security certificate per unit, secure automated provisioning via TR-069, web, SSH and SNMP management, and automatic failover to a secondary SIP server.
